Defrosting is a morning you get back, because the frost never gets the chance to build up. The cabinet clears it as it runs, in the freezer compartment as well as on the fridge side.

All three fridge shelves are glass rather than wire. A flat sheet of glass takes a heavy pot across its whole surface, instead of the weight sitting on a few thin wires.
