Defrosting is a morning you get back, because the frost never gets the chance to build up. The cabinet clears it as it runs, in the freezer compartment as well as on the fridge side.

2 Glass fridge shelves

Both fridge shelves are glass rather than wire. A flat sheet of glass takes a heavy pot across its whole surface, instead of the weight sitting on a few thin wires.

The interior light is an LED rather than a bulb. It comes on with the door and goes off once it shuts, so it's only running when you need it.
