Inverter total no frost
This fridge never needs defrosting by hand. It clears its own frost automatically, so ice doesn't build up in the freezer. The compressor is an inverter, changing speed to hold a steady temperature instead of switching on and off.
510litres, 306 in the fridge and 204 in the freezer

Colourful touch screen display
The touch screen sits right on the door, so you can check and change settings without opening anything. Fridge and freezer are set independently, each with its own reading.

4S gradually brightening back LED
The LED runs across the whole back panel, not just behind the top shelf, so nothing on the lower shelves sits in the dark. It comes up slowly, not all at once, when you open the door.

Twist ice maker
Twist the ice tray and the cubes drop into the box below. There's no water line to connect and no filter to replace, the way a plumbed dispenser needs both.

2 slide crisper drawers
Two crisper drawers sit at the bottom of the fridge, each sliding fully out instead of sticking halfway. Fruit and vegetables go in here, kept apart from the shelves above.
And the small things, too
The deep-freeze setting runs down to −32℃. Day to day the freezer sits between −15℃ and −23℃.
An AES steriliser module treats the air inside the fridge compartment while it runs.
Four drawers instead of one deep well, so a frozen bag is not buried under everything above it.

Big, quiet, efficient
Swallowed a full market run with room to spare. Runs quieter than our old double door.

Best fridge we have owned
Six months in and the no-frost really means no frost. The touch screen is a nice surprise at this price.

Frequently asked
220–240 V at 50 Hz. It needs its own wall outlet rated at least 10 A, because sharing a socket with other appliances is a fire risk, and that outlet must be properly earthed. If the unit will sit somewhere damp, check the earth and the residual current circuit breaker before you switch it on.
Stand it somewhere well ventilated, out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources such as a cooker, on a floor strong enough to hold it fully loaded. Leave 300 mm clear above it, 100 mm at each side and 50 mm behind it so heat can escape. Then level it with the adjustable front feet. A unit standing off-level is the usual cause of noise and vibration. If it is going on carpet or a soft floor, put a firm plate underneath.
Let it stand still for at least an hour before you plug it in. Once it is running, the compressor should have the freezer noticeably cold within an hour. Wait until the cabinet has fully cooled before you load food. That takes two to three hours, or at least four in hot weather, and it helps not to open the doors while it gets there.
No. It is a total no frost refrigerator, so manual defrosting is never necessary. What it does need is a clean about once a month: take out the shelves, crispers and drawers and wipe them with a soft cloth in warm water or a mild detergent, rinse the detergent off and dry with a cloth. Clean the dust off the back and sides too, and wipe the door gasket carefully.
Blackout memory locks the working state at the moment the power fails and resumes exactly there when it returns, so nothing needs resetting. While it is off, keep the doors closed and don't add food. If you know an outage is coming, set the freezer to fast cooling beforehand and make some ice to keep in the fridge compartment.
They are two compartments with presets of their own. The fresh temp change drawer runs Soft-Freeze at −2℃ for meat you will cook within a few days, 0° Fresh at 0℃ for seafood and fish, and Chill at 2℃ for ready-to-eat food. The Baby & Mom space runs Deli at 2℃ for steamed and cooked food, Baby & Mom at 4℃ for maternal and child storage, and Precious at 6℃ for dry goods and tea.
No. It is a twist tray, so there is no water line to install and no filter to replace. If the fridge will be unused for more than a week, throw out the ice, clean and dry the unit, take the food out and unplug it.
Two things, in this order: whether it is standing level, and whether it is touching the wall. Adjust the front feet to level it, and pull it away from the wall so air can move around the compressor. Both are normal causes and neither needs a technician.
Usually one of five things: the doors are being opened often or were left ajar; too much food went in at once, or hot food did, or a food bag is caught in the door gasket; it is in direct sunlight or next to the cooker; there isn't enough space around it for ventilation; or the temperature is simply set too high. Let food cool before it goes in, close the doors fully, move it away from heat, give it clearance, and set a suitable temperature.
No aerosol cans or anything with a flammable propellant, and no ethers, volatile oils, liquid gas, alcohol or adhesives. No medicines or laboratory reagents, because a household refrigerator can't hold the temperature those need. And no glass bottles or sealed cans of liquid in the freezer, because they crack as the contents expand.
Through authorised Bruhm service centres. Two jobs are theirs and not yours: changing the LED light, and replacing the supply cord. A damaged cord has to be replaced by Bruhm, its service agent or a similarly qualified person, so never fit a substitute yourself.
